Job Summary
Application Support Engineer role focused on SAP landscape design, administration, and AI-enabled delivery. Build and integrate SAP applications, manage end-to-end SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, SAP RISE hosting) from installation and configuration through performance optimization, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Drive AI-driven enhancements to SAP landscapes, integrating GenAI and agentic architectures into enterprise decision workflows. Responsibilities include designing SAP landscapes for multi-cloud/on‐prem environments, implementing HA/DR, performing lifecycle management (builds, upgrades, patches), and supporting security and integration across SAP components and open sources (e.g., OpenText, Vertex, Cloud connectors). Required skills include SAP Basis administration, SAP HANA security, SAP BTP services, cloud and on‐prem deployments, and strong collaboration with cross‐functional teams. Certifications in cloud and SAP areas are considered an asset; knowledge of Python, Ansible, Terraform, YAML, and experience with GenAI/AI application delivery are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years full time education with bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience
- SAP Basis Administration
- S/4HANA/SAP BTP/Cloud and on-premises SAP landscape knowledge
- Knowledge of SAP security (SSL/TLS/SSO/SAML)
- Experience with GenAI/Agentic AI concepts
- Experience in AI-enabled project delivery and enterprise automation
- Proficiency in Python, Ansible, Terraform, YAML
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps in cloud environments
