Job Summary
Enterprise Network Operations Engineer to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across global environments. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining network health, resolving incidents related to routing, switching, wireless, and firewall components, performing standard ITIL-based change management, supporting WAN/LAN connectivity and VPNs, handling L2/L3 escalations with root cause analysis, configuring Cisco/Juniper routers and switches, administering Palo Alto firewalls and HP/Aruba switches, proactive monitoring using SolarWinds/Splunk/ServiceNow, maintaining network documentation, and participating in incident restoration during major outages. Required competencies span networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, NAT), multi-vendor platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Aruba/HP), SD-WAN, network automation scripting (Python, Ansible) and cloud networking awareness (AWS/Azure/GCP). Educational background emphasizes a bachelor’s degree with relevant professional certifications; strong communication and ability to work in a global, 24x7 operations context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent field
- Minimum 7.5 years of experience
- Strong experience in Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, HP, and Aruba platforms
- Experience in network operations, incident response, and configuration management
- Experience with SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Aruba Edge Connect, or Silver Peak)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, NAT, ACLs
- Familiarity with tools: SolarWinds, Wireshark, Splunk, ServiceNow, Cisco Prime, Aruba Airwave
- Certifications (preferred): CCNA/JNCIA/CCNP/JNCIP/Aruba ACMP/HP ASE
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field; professional certifications preferred
- Experience with 24x7 operation environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
