Job Summary
Own and resolve L2 incidents, service requests, and problems end-to-end within SLA while performing root cause analysis for recurring issues. Conduct proactive monitoring, execute patching and upgrades, and administer RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu servers including storage, network services, and security hardening. Write bash scripts for automation, tune monitoring dashboards, and implement backup solutions. Participate in Change Advisory Board for standard changes and mentor CL-12 administrators. Contribute to knowledge base articles and post-incident reviews. Requires 2 years of Linux Architecture experience, RHCSA certification, and a 15-year full-time education. Based in Bengaluru.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year(s) of experience
- 15 years full time education
- RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator)
- Proficiency in Linux Architecture
- Strong knowledge of system troubleshooting and incident management
- Experience in creating and implementing Requests for Change
- Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and service management teams
- Familiarity with maintaining and updating technical documentation and knowledge bases
Desired Qualifications
- RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer)
- Linux Foundation Certified SysAdmin (LFCS) as an acceptable alternative
