Application Specialist PAS

Job Summary
Review proposal and tender documentation, analyse customer processes, and identify gaps before release. Conduct Edition Customer Induction workshops, propose solutions by mapping existing components, and produce clear documentation including business requirements and solution design documents. Set up customer site configurations, create validation scripts, and participate in validating the configured system and migrated data. Troubleshoot issues during implementation, log errors and change requests, and support customer validation. Prepare train-the-trainer materials, conduct workshops, and provide on-site support during Go-Live. Liaise with departments to resolve remaining issues and complete the support handover process. Maintain traceable documentation and learn new TrakCare functionalities.
Required Qualifications
- Healthcare PAS background
- In-depth knowledge understanding of the PAS rules and PAS workflows and requirements within the private and public hospitals in UK
- Available to visit customer sites
- Possibility of spending up to 5 days away from home each week
- At least 3 years' experience working in healthcare
- Good understanding of PAS processes in UK
- Deep understanding of the PAS rules and PAS workflows and requirements within the private and public hospitals in UK
- Experience contributing to a multi-disciplined team
- Experience with writing functional documents
- Experience of business process mapping
- Knowledge of Information Systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of conducting customer training, workshops and/or presentations
- Excellent consultative skills ability to articulate and communicate ideas
- Experience interacting directly with customers, including clinicians, and confidently delivering strong messaging
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in communicating with key stakeholders at various levels within healthcare organisations which may be government/public and/or private sector businesses
- Experience implementing software solutions
- Exposure to IT services in a customer-facing setting
- Previous experience as an Application or Configuration Specialist
- Previous experience of change management
- Good computer skills
- Experience conducting software testing
- University degree in Science or Engineering or Clinical
- Proficiency in English
