Job Summary
Provide bakery customers with on-site technical and operational support for functional ingredients, specifically bakery enzymes, while collaborating with the sales team to execute pilot plant experiments and instrumental evaluations. Document enzyme portfolio effects in technical reports and present data to customers and internal colleagues. Explore new business opportunities with the sales lead, participate in customer development projects, and assist in product formulation, documentation, and patent disclosures throughout the commercialization process. This role involves 30-40% travel activity and is based in Gurgaon, India, within IFF's Health & Biosciences division focused on sustainable innovations across food and healthcare markets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Bakery Science, Food Science, Food Technology, Food Biotechnology or a related discipline
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in product development, application development, or a related technical role within a food ingredients organization or the baking industry
- Strong technical expertise in bakery applications
- Solid understanding of industry trends
- Demonstrated passion for bakery innovation
