Job Summary
Develop and maintain web application infrastructure using a diverse toolset centered on JavaScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis. Build web UI components with frameworks like backbone.js, d3.js, and three.js while collaborating across the full stack. Act as a tech innovator by proposing new technologies and ideas to the team, and support junior staff through mentorship opportunities. Work remotely or on-site in London or Cambridge, rotating three days on location and two days remote. This role offers the chance to shape products at a leading software company known for strong internal training and promotion pathways.
Required Qualifications
- History of academic excellence including a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree from a leading university
- AAB at A Level (or equivalent UCAS points)
- Solid commercial experience using JavaScript
- Ability to quickly pick up new technologies
- Good communication skills
