Application Security Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager for AppSec leading a team of Senior and Staff-level security engineers. Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development; formalising AppSec strategy and roadmap; acting as a credible technical partner on threat modelling, security architecture, and risk decisions; defining operating rhythm (OKRs, quarterly planning, cross-team coordination); liaison with leadership and partner functions to embed security into product development; and contributing to AI-assisted security development in a fast-growing SaaS/AI company. Key skills include hands-on security engineering (threat modelling, secure design review, SAST/SCA tooling, vulnerability management, security automation), strong Python and JavaScript, experience with AWS and/or GCP, GitHub Actions, and meaningful people management experience.
