Job Summary
Application Scientist responsible for developing color solutions and serving as the technical color expert for Givaudan Sense Colour. Role involves developing and evaluating colors for customer-specific applications, conducting sensory testing and data analysis, creating reports, supporting new product development from benchtop to commercialization, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Must understand color stability and performance in food formulations, support regulatory and quality processes, manage project documentation, and work with marketing and sales to convey technical advantages. Requires experience in food science/R&D, ability to design experiments, strong communication, and potential travel. Desirable bilingual Spanish capability and willingness to engage with diverse academic and industry partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science or related degree
- R&D experience required
- Capable of planning and executing experimental design
- Strong communication skills – both oral and written
- Good Laboratory Practices knowledge
