Job Summary
Deliver expert demonstrations bridging clinical needs with VarSome Premium, Clinical, and API solutions while owning the customer evaluation process. Lead onboarding sessions for geneticists and bioinformaticians to ensure rapid time to value, coordinating infrastructure specifications for on-premises and private cloud deployments. Fine-tune filtering strategies and automation to maximize platform stickiness, acting as a high-level bridge between customer support and stakeholders. Systematically gather power-user feedback to influence the product roadmap and cultivate strategic relationships for conference presentations and technical white papers. Partner with Product, Marketing, and Operations colleagues to ensure product-market fit, translating features into benefits for prospects. Requires a Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics, NGS analysis expertise, and fluency in English. Available for international business travel to support the APAC region.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in bioinformatics, including NGS secondary and/or tertiary analysis workflows
- A solid grasp of variant classification frameworks
- A deep understanding of bioinformatics and IT workflows
- The ability to simplify complex bioinformatics and technical infrastructure concepts for researchers, clinicians, and IT professionals
- Proficiency in English
- Previous background in a bioinformatics software company or experience in DevOps/SysAdmin roles
- Familiarity with working in regulated environments, such as IVDR, CLIA/CAP, or similar standards
- Proven experience in multicultural environments and/or supporting international customers in a scale-up setting
- A curious, detail-oriented professional who maintains high scientific standards while managing complex data analysis
- The ability to balance scientific accuracy with pragmatic sales decisions and translate features into customer benefits
- A structured thinker with strong prioritization and project management skills
- Available and willing to undertake international business travel to support our global customer base in the APAC region
