Application Programmer III

Develop software solutions by integrating Free and Open Source, Commercial, and Government of the Shelf software for host-based and network sensor platforms. Lead multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers on planning, design, and development for data analysis systems. Write, update, and maintain computer programs, software packages, and user documentation while developing tools to store, locate, and retrieve specific data. Utilize stakeholder feedback and system testing to validate capabilities, and lead development of unit and integration tests within a CI/CD pipeline. Work in parallel with QA/testing and participate in cross-functional teams following Scrum Agile practices. Requires Active Top Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of experience, or High School diploma with 10-15 years of experience. Located at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX.
