Application Production Support

Application Production Support role focused on IT service delivery for BNP Paribas IT services. Direct responsibilities include handling incidents, requests and changes within predefined application scope, ensuring SLA targets are met, and handing over to Paris teams when knowledge/skills are unavailable. Contributing responsibilities include knowledge transfer with Paris OPS teams, defining procedures/processes for the team, building team spirit, regular activity reporting and KPI calculation, continuous improvement actions, developing and managing ITSM processes based on ITIL or similar frameworks, and overseeing incident, problem, change, release and project management processes. Work with cross-functional teams to align IT services with business needs and SLAs, conduct regular reviews of ITSM processes, maintain the IT service catalog with accurate documentation. Technical/behavioural competencies include RedHat Linux and Windows administration; AIX, WAS, CFT, MQ Series; ServiceNow; Dynatrace, SysDig, Kibana; Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB; scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell); DevOps tools (Gitlab, Ansible, Jenkins); Docker/Kubernetes; cloud platforms (IBM Cloud); ITIL or similar ITSM knowledge; backup and resilience planning; strong English communication; teamwork, problem solving and creativity; ability to grasp application domain; education level Bachelor Degree or equivalent; location Chennai.
