Job Summary
Systems Analyst, VP responsible for administering and supporting Charles River IMS production environments across multiple clients as part of the SaaS Operations and strategy. Focus areas include user administration, configuration and testing of software changes, interface/integration configuration, production deployment, incident resolution, data and system availability, performance troubleshooting, and migration of changes to production. Collaborates with CRD colleagues and vendors to deliver integrated, high-quality service, contributes to continuous process improvement, and supports business continuity/disaster recovery. Requires a BS degree in a technical field or IT-concentrated Finance/Business degree and 10+ years of production-support experience; proficient with SQL/MS SQL Server; scripting in Python/Perl/PowerShell; strong customer service and communication skills; familiarity with Charles River IMS or securities trading software and portfolio management/trading system applications is preferred. Flexible to work off-hours for production support; capable of operating independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or BA in Finance/Business with IT concentration
- Minimum 10+ years progressively responsible experience
- Experience in managing and supporting mission-critical production software applications
- Experience with SQL, MS SQL Server
- Experience with automation using scripting languages such as Python/Perl and PowerShell
- Excellent customer service, technical troubleshooting, and interpersonal communication skills
- Background in Charles River IMS or securities trading software is preferred
- Experience with servers and networks is preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Flexibility to work beyond regular hours
