Job Summary
Application Engineering Supervisor leading Stellantis-focused programs within a sales-driven framework. Acts as the primary technical interface for Aptiv’s Connection Systems to translate customer needs into deployable vehicle solutions, drive program execution from development through production launches, align engineering with commercial objectives, and mentor a team of Application Engineers to deliver KPIs such as launch readiness, quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include defining account strategy with Sales, leading RFQs and technical presentations, ensuring adherence to Stellantis specifications, coordinating cross-functional teams, driving root cause analysis for issues, and enabling technical upselling opportunities while maintaining market intelligence and process standardization. Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, extensive automotive engineering experience, leadership capability, and travel willingness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 8-10+ years of automotive engineering experience; OEM experience preferred
- 2-3 years in a leadership capacity
- Strong technical, commercial, and customer-facing acumen; excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
