Job Summary
Application Engineer at SKF India (Bangalore) responsible for managing technical relationships with OE/EU customers or Distributors, contributing to opportunity generation with customized value-added solutions, developing and implementing customized offerings, interpreting results from application engineering software, conducting application reviews on complex machines, creating and presenting application engineering proposals with technical specifications, monitoring competitor activities, addressing customer pain points to improve performance, providing feedback to product centers for new designs, transferring advanced engineering knowledge, identifying customer needs to develop services offering, and representing SKF at customer visits, seminars, and fairs; duties also include root cause analysis of bearing-related problems, delivering internal and external trainings, obtaining customer product approvals, and coordinating trainings and support materials.
Required Qualifications
- B.E / B. Tech (Mandatory)
- Experience of 8-12 years in Application engineering with bearing background
- Industry – Bearing industry
- Experience of handling OE/ End users
- Result driven and passion to win
- Think and act decisively, and with clarity
- Collaboration and Managing Internal and External Stakeholders
- Team management
- Solution selling
- Basic understanding of logistics at a distributor point
