Job Summary
Application Engineer/Customer Service Representative to provide sales support for parts, equipment and services for Ryan Herco Flow Solutions/SunSource. Collaborates with Field Sales Representatives and Repair Sales Management to maximize profit margins while maintaining strong customer relationships. Learn product lines, supplier sizing and selection programs, develop quotations, enter orders, and resolve warranty issues. Build relationships with customers and vendors to position the company as the first choice for rotating equipment needs. Strong mechanical foundation and experience in inside sales or technical support in manufacturing or distribution recommended.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical degree preferred or equivalent combination work experience, training and/or education
- At least 2 years in an inside sales or technical support role in a manufacturing or distribution environment, preferably in the fluid power or fluid processing industry
- Must be well organized and able to coordinate with functional groups to achieve results
- Candidate must have strong communication skills and computer proficiency
