Job Summary
Responsibilities: Apply engineering expertise to support sealing solutions across static and dynamic applications (including O-rings and electrification/eMobility), analyze warranty data and field performance to identify root causes, and drive continuous quality improvements. Collaborate with internal experts (materials, tribology, CAE, program management) and external customers to solve technical challenges, support customer programs and component reviews with technical input, develop and update seal designs using 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX) to meet requirements, lead or support corrective actions and VA/VE cost-reduction efforts, and act as a technical partner delivering product training and application expertise. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years of relevant engineering experience, CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/SolidWorks/NX), strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environment
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and application documentation
- Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or NX
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and interact with customers
- Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
