Job Summary
Application Engineer at Freudenberg responsible for translating technical requirements into high-impact, application-specific solutions; act as the technical voice with customers, sales, and leadership; lead solution development from concept through launch; drive cross-functional execution with engineering, quality, operations, and commercial teams; own technical problem-solving and root-cause analysis; contribute to proposals and technical presentations to differentiate capabilities; identify opportunities for product improvements and new applications based on market insights and customer feedback. Requires 5-10 years of related experience, strong engineering foundation, ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and willingness to travel domestically (at least weekly) and internationally. Required Qualifications
- 5 - 10 years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, product engineering, or a customer-facing engineering role
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and schematics to develop and communicate solutions
- Willingness to travel domestically at least one week per month and occasionally travel internationally
