Job Summary
Execute project start-ups, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of installed BAS controls and mechanical systems. Participate in network layout, coordinate IP addresses with customer IT, and run complex reports to verify system operation against contracted scope. Develop written sequences of operation from mechanical drawings, create control algorithms, download source code, and manage databases. Provide technical presentations on building automation and emerging technologies, conduct final inspections, and train end users on system operations. Requires 8+ years of automation experience with Niagara AX/N4, Distech, Delta, or similar systems. Compensation is $54-$68 per hour; location is Mesa, AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience
- Strong networking background
- 8+ years of direct automation experience with control system architecture design and programing
- 6+ years of experience with Niagara AX/N4, Distech, Delta, or similar systems
- Knowledge of Direct Digital Controls, BACnet, MODbus, Tridium, Schneider, and Delta
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems - Unitary Systems to Central Plants
- Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
