Job Summary
Review approved project plans, specifications, and schedules for a varying customer base. Design custom HVAC systems to meet customer demand and industry standards. Manage project scope and bid documentation to identify cost reduction opportunities. Create submittal packages with the required level of detail, including direct customer consultation when necessary. Host coordination meetings between the factory and stakeholders to define project scope and timeline. Coordinate across disciplines to provide concise product designs, review submittals for accuracy, and prepare bills of materials for equipment procurement. Provide engineering support for production, including design drawing reviews, quality audit checks, and issue resolution. Support customer visits and witness testing while delivering on-time project outputs. Work onsite Monday through Thursday; Fridays are flexible based on project needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- At least 2-years of work experience in product design, validation testing or root cause analysis
- Proficiency in AutoCad
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with applications of various components used within HVAC systems such as coils, filters, dampers, motors, and fans
- Organization and project management skills
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must be a self-starter with a high energy level and career commitment
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team structure
- Must be available for onsite work Monday to Thursday
- Must be able to choose work location on Fridays
