Job Summary
Review approved project plans, specifications, and schedules for a varying customer base. Design custom HVAC systems to meet customer demand and industry standards. Manage project scope and bid documentation to identify cost reduction opportunities. Create submittal packages with required detail levels. Host coordination meetings between the factory and stakeholders to define scope and timeline. Coordinate cross-disciplinary efforts for concise product design. Review submittals for accuracy, prepare and manage bills of materials for equipment procurement, and provide engineering support for production including drawing reviews and quality audits. Support customer visits and witness testing, providing feedback to identify process efficiency and quality improvements. Work onsite Monday through Thursday, with Fridays offering flexible location options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- at least 2-years of work experience in product design, validation testing or root cause analysis
- Proficiency in AutoCad
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with applications of various components used within HVAC systems such as coils, filters, dampers, motors, and fans
- Organization and project management skills
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must be a self-starter with a high energy level and career commitment
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team structure
- Must be able to pass additional drug screening
