Job Summary
Application Engineer responsible for developing innovative mechanical design solutions for new products. Collaborates with in-house personnel, sales, and customers on product requirements; creates/designs product solutions to resolve problems; assists prototype development and BOM creation; redesigns existing products for manufacturability; analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves issues; maintains detailed records and documentation; uses SolidWorks EPDM or Adept; applies GD&T; requires AutoCAD and SolidWorks proficiency; hands-on design experience with custom designs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Hands-On experience preferred
- Knowledge of GD&T
