Job Summary
Manage technical relationships with OEMs and distributors to generate opportunities and create customized value-added solutions. Perform application reviews on complex machines, develop analytical methods using engineering software, and present proposals with design specifications. Execute root cause analysis on bearing problems, monitor competitor activities, and define action plans to improve performance. Represent SKF at customer visits, seminars, and fairs while maintaining close ties with engineering management for Design FMEA. Identify market trends to steer new product development and deliver internal and external training programs. Obtain customer approvals for prototypes and sample tests, managing product development portfolios for optimal profit.
Required Qualifications
- B.E / B. Tech
- 5-8 years in Application engineering
- bearing background
- Mechanical Engineering Domain Knowledge
- relevant work experience in Design/Application Engineering/Maintenance
- Experience of handling or working with OE/ End users
- Basic understanding of logistics at a distributor point
