Application Engineer - Electrical Markets

Lead technical programs that drive application development and product innovation in electrical markets. Identify and develop new product applications through customer engagement, technical presentations, and field trials. Lead application development and product improvement initiatives for medium and high voltage cable accessories while providing technical support and marketing to utilities and industrial customers. Plan and execute field trials, pre-qualification, and product validation with key accounts. Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations on joints and terminations, coordinate with external laboratories for type testing and certification, and deliver product and application training to internal teams, distributors, and end users. Support new product introductions, including qualification, documentation, and customized solutions. Perform competitive analysis and define clear value propositions for 3M solutions. Build industry presence through technical papers, presentations, and participation in professional bodies. Collaborate with business and global teams to identify growth opportunities and drive market adoption.
