Job Summary
Application Engineer for Conveyor Belts in Arizona responsible for implementing the segment's strategy while maintaining balance between strategic initiatives and operational tasks, with a special focus on providing on-site support and troubleshooting applications for our main customer in Arizona. Responsibilities include initiating and supervising related Application Engineering activities (customer projects, technical changes, quality improvements), conducting field inspections and root cause analysis, safeguarding quality guidelines, developing segment strategy, analyzing market and technology inputs for business strategies, aligning with Product Development and Product Management for regional requirements, attending strategic meetings with customers to present engineered solutions, selecting and suggesting最佳 product specifications for applications, and providing technical input during customer interactions. Requires up to 50% travel and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; no visa sponsorship offered; requires legal U.S. work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering(preferred) or related technical degree
- 2+ years of experience in application engineering or a comparable function in the mining industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong MS Office suite experience (Excel and PPT)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Up to 50% travel to customer sites for application support, project execution, and field troubleshooting
