Application Engineer – Brake Control

Lead application engineering for legacy and ongoing railway brake system projects, driving customer engagements, cost-effective brake control solutions, and end-to-end documentation. Serve as the SPOC for customers (including RDSO) and coordinate with internal teams for project execution, develop brake control systems for Metro and Indian Railways, prepare specifications, FMECA, system manuals, and traceability matrices. Perform hands-on design using CATIA/AutoCAD, develop pneumatic/electrical schematics, support testing, installation, commissioning, and field troubleshooting, and drive initiatives such as SCRI, VAVE, Design-to-Cost, localization, and product sustenance. Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to optimize cycles, reduce costs, and improve performance while leading RAMS, warranty activities, and field feedback-driven improvements.
