Job Summary
Design automation system architectures, I/O lists, and control philosophies while configuring PLCs and DCS platforms. Prepare functional design specifications, cause-and-effect diagrams, and control narratives. Develop HMI/SCADA graphics and dashboards, then lead or support on-site commissioning, loop checking, and start-up activities. Troubleshoot control systems to optimize operation and achieve process KPIs. Generate as-built documentation, user manuals, and training materials while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to provide technical support and training to operators. Requires 1–3 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, PLC/DCS, and instrumentation. Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, or Mechatronics. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, PLC/DCS, instrumentation, commissioning, and control systems
- Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS programming and configuration (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Honeywell, Emerson, Yokogawa, etc.)
- Knowledge of HMI/SCADA, industrial instrumentation, control systems, and automation architectures
- Experience in FAT/SAT, loop checking, commissioning, troubleshooting, and start-up activities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
