Job Summary
Application Engineer will collaborate with customers in early-stage co-engineering of sealing solutions, lead the design and 3D modeling of components, initiate simulations (FEA, mold flow, demolding studies), and create precise technical documentation (drawings with GD&T, specifications, reports). You will drive continuous improvement by integrating feedback from prototyping, testing, and production, stay current with new materials and manufacturing technologies, and support IP protection through patent filings. Fluent English is required and German is an advantage. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Polymer Engineering with hands-on product development experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Polymer Engineering, preferably with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in product development and simulation-based optimization.
