Job Summary
Review project specifications and drawings to select appropriate HVAC equipment, preparing schedules, submittals, and technical documentation. Support the sales team with quotes, proposals, and value engineering while collaborating with design engineers, contractors, and end-users to troubleshoot technical issues. Assist with project lifecycle support from pre-sale through installation, ensuring successful integration of solutions in commercial and industrial projects. Stay current on HVAC technologies, codes, and best practices to identify and communicate customer needs and sales opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Minimum 2 years certificate or associates degree in a technical program such as Mechanical Engineering
- 0-5 years of experience in HVAC design, sales support, or applications engineering
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, Industrial processes, and building mechanical systems
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Microsoft Software Skills (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
- Team Player attitude
