Job Summary
Intermediate-level Applications Development role focused on participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs, coordinating with the Technology team. Responsibilities include using programming knowledge to identify system enhancements, consulting with users and other technology groups, applying fundamentals of programming languages, analyzing applications for security issues and testing/debugging, and acting as SME to senior stakeholders while maintaining risk and compliance awareness. The role requires independent judgment, the ability to coach lower-level analysts, and strong communication skills within a financial services context.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
- Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
