Job Summary
Application Developer IV responsible for reviewing, analyzing, modifying, designing, debugging, and testing applications using modern development methodologies. Leads the definition and implementation of an API-led connectivity strategy and designs a reusable API network for scalable, secure, and governed integrations. Performs full software development lifecycle tasks, mentors staff, and provides training and documentation. Requires extensive experience in API design and MuleSoft, OpenAPI specifications, Java/Python/JavaScript, CI/CD, security, and architectural governance. Work is conducted in a work-from-home setup in Pennsylvania with 40 hours/week and regular/exemption status.
Required Qualifications
- Required Skills: API design and development (REST); RAML, OpenAPI (OAS3), AsyncAPI; MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (including CloudHub 2.0); System, Process, Experience API layering; API proxies, gateways, and policy implementation; API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, rate limiting); software development (Java, Python, or JavaScript); CI/CD and Git-based workflows; debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting; architecture diagrams and technical documentation; collaboration and participation in design discussions
