Job Summary
Develop and support modern web-based applications and data workflows for Oregon DLCD, including Python/Django-based solutions, ArcGIS platform integrations, and data governance tooling; collaborate with Data Engineer to design scalable data solutions, maintain metadata and catalogs, and migrate legacy .NET apps to modern frameworks; ensure accessible, secure, and well-documented codebases across SQL Server/Postgres and related services.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of professional experience in data engineering, database management, ETL processes, data integration, and data governance
- AND three (3) years of professional experience in data engineering, database management, ETL processes, data integration, and data governance
- OR An Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in data engineering or a related field; AND three (3) years of professional experience in data engineering, database management, ETL processes, data integration, and data governance.
- OR A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems, or related field; AND one (1) year of professional experience in application development, data engineering, database management, ETL processes, data integration, and data governance.
