Job Summary
Develop, enhance, and maintain business-critical applications and IT solutions by designing, building, testing, and deploying software that meets business needs. Collaborate with architects, application managers, and stakeholders to transform requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while influencing the full software development lifecycle. Support application installation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance, writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices. Troubleshoot technical challenges, participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities, and provide technical guidance, user training, and documentation. Work within a global team at Hitachi Energy's Transformers Business Solutions IT organization to drive operational excellence and support digital transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software development and application delivery
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, C++, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, or Python
- Knowledge of modern development platforms and tools such as Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Power Apps, GitHub, or MuleSoft
- Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and project delivery frameworks such as Agile or PMP
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a global environment
