Job Summary
Application Developer - ETL at QVC Group leads and mentors a development team within the Enterprise Data Warehouse space, delivering scalable, secure ETL/data warehousing solutions. Responsibilities include leading development efforts, planning sprints with the Scrum Master, aligning solutions with enterprise strategy, and developing/configuring/testing programs across data warehousing stacks. Requires 3+ years of software development experience focusing on data warehousing/ETL and proficiency with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Oracle/Exadata/DB2/Teradata, cloud tools (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, ADLS), PySpark, Databricks Notebooks, Lambda architectures, real-time and batch processing, CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Git), Agile methodologies (Jira, Confluence), Stonebranch, BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau), and AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Databricks Genie). Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience in software development focusing on data warehousing, ETL, and data quality
- Proficiency in ETL processes and major RDBMS (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Oracle, Exadata, DB2, Teradata)
- Experience with cloud tools (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Data Lake (ADLS), PySpark, Databricks Notebooks)
- Experience with Lambda architectures, real-time and batch processing
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, Git Repo)
- Agile methodology (Scrum), Jira, Confluence, source code management
- Knowledge of Stonebranch, BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Databricks Genie)
