Job Summary
Application Developer responsible for designing and delivering credit-union software solutions, including front-end interfaces, web services/APIs, databases, and batch maintenance scripts. Collaborates with analysts and business experts to design, prototype, code, debug, test, and document solutions; analyzes data and ETL processes, creates and maintains reports and data extracts, performs code reviews, ensures standards and change control compliance, and communicates artifacts (Use Cases, Wireframes, Prototypes, Flow Diagrams, Input/Output Specifications) to stakeholders; stays current with technologies and ensures documentation and system reliability as needs grow; complies with BSA, Patriot Act, and OFAC requirements. Minimum 1-3 years of related experience with technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, Java, SQL, DB2, Git, and Postman; requires a college degree (related field preferred) and willingness to travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- A college degree in related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, technical training, and experience will be considered
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (browser, runtime, and frameworks), JSON, XML, Java, SQL, DB2, Git, Postman preferred
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate with stakeholders; ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to travel as needed and to adhere to organizational policies and procedures
