Job Summary
Design and maintain the application roadmap for the commercial loan servicing platform, including technology direction and modernization initiatives. Develop solution approaches, architecture recommendations, and technical roadmaps while aligning with enterprise standards, security requirements, and business objectives. Provide high-level estimates, assess solution complexity, and lead architecture reviews to support key technical decisions. Guide teams on application design, integration patterns, API development, and best practices, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable. Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and system integration artifacts, while mentoring developers and resolving cross-functional technical challenges. Partner with business, product, infrastructure, and vendor teams to deliver solutions within regulated financial services environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in solution architecture, technology strategy, IT transformation, or financial services technology leadership
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience implementing architecture governance practices in regulated, agile, product-centric, or scaled delivery environments
- Strong understanding of standard architecture patterns such as distributed systems, APIs, integration patterns, data platforms, resiliency, modern application architecture, and responsible AI governance concepts
- Experience with SQL and application integration
Desired Qualifications
- 10 years of experience preferred
- Experience in banking, financial services, lending, or another regulated technology environment
- Experience across business, application, data, infrastructure, security, cloud, and integration architecture domains
- Familiarity with AI governance, model risk considerations, responsible AI principles, data governance, privacy, explain ability, and control frameworks in regulated environments
