Job Summary
Application Architect Executive at Elevance Health. Creates architectural solutions articulating business context, conceptual design, and component-level logical design; defines platform architecture, security architecture, and evolution roadmap. Drives technology recommendations based on business value, oversees platform-level conceptual architecture, and coordinates data, application, and technical architectures. Requires 7+ years in architecture/design, a BA/BS in IT/CS or related field, and experience with monolithic to microservices architectures, API-first design, distributed systems, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms, event-driven architectures, relational and NoSQL databases, and CI/CD/DevOps. Hybrid work: in-office 1-2 days per week with alternate locations considered within commuting distance; vaccination policy for patient-facing roles; health and equal opportunity employer. Preferred healthcare industry experience and familiarity with Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Spring Boot, .NET, React/Angular, SQL, NoSQL, Kafka/RabbitMQ, AWS/Azure, and data security standards.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines
