Job Summary
Design and support AWS-based application architectures while contributing to cloud security modernization initiatives. Assess and mitigate application and infrastructure vulnerabilities, ensuring best practices in security, resilience, and compliance. Collaborate with security, IAM, and engineering teams to support secure cloud platform enhancements and participate in architecture reviews. Strengthen cybersecurity operations and enhance secure processing of customer data within a highly regulated environment. This 6-month remote contract offers exposure to enterprise-level cloud security transformation and high-visibility cybersecurity initiatives for a technically strong AWS professional.
Required Qualifications
- 5–6 years of experience in application architecture or technical cloud roles
- Strong experience with AWS cloud environments
- Knowledge of vulnerabilities and vulnerability management practices
- Exposure to security-focused projects (cybersecurity, IAM, resilience initiatives)
- Ability to operate in a remote, delivery-focused environment
- Minimum 5 years of UK residency
