Job Summary
Lead application modernization initiatives and cloud migration strategies for a leading enterprise organization. Design and document reference architectures aligned to AWS best practices while conducting architecture impact assessments across complex, multi-supplier environments. Produce architectural artefacts including decision records and impact analysis to support governance and ensure alignment to enterprise standards. Provide technical direction for legacy-to-cloud transitions within a high-visibility modernization program. This 6-month fully remote contract offers a competitive £300/day rate to an architect with 5–10 years of experience leading AWS migration programs in UK-based ecosystems.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading AWS migration programs
- Strong background in application architecture within enterprise environments
- Experience working in a multi-vendor / multi-supplier ecosystem
- Demonstrated ability to create reference architectures
- Demonstrated ability to create architectural decision records
- Demonstrated ability to create impact analysis documentation
- 5–10 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years UK residency
