Job Summary
Design, build, configure, test, and optimize Epic Resolute applications for Professional Billing, Hospital Billing, Claims, Electronic Remittance, Reimbursement Contracts, and the Benefits Engine. Analyze operational, financial, and clinical workflows to develop solutions, serve as a liaison to resolve complex issues, and support post-go-live stabilization and quarterly upgrades. Perform configuration validation, debugging, and user acceptance testing while coordinating with technical teams to ensure system reliability. Provide ongoing break/fix support and workflow optimization initiatives following ITIL processes. Bachelor's degree in IT required with five years of Epic Resolute experience; no employer-sponsored work authorization available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience supporting Epic applications, healthcare information technology, or clinical information systems
- Experience supporting application build, configuration, implementation, maintenance, and optimization within a healthcare environment
- Experience supporting Epic Resolute applications, including Professional Billing (PB), Hospital Billing (HB), Claims, and Revenue Cycle workflows
- Experience performing workflow analysis and partnering with clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders to improve application performance
- Experience supporting integrated testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and application validation activities
- Experience supporting post-go-live operations, break/fix support, quarterly Epic upgrades, and ongoing operational maintenance
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Active Epic Certification or Accreditation in a relevant Epic Resolute application (Professional Billing, Hospital Billing, or Claims)
- Experience supporting Reimbursement Contracts
- Experience supporting Benefits Engine
Desired Qualifications
- Five to seven years of experience supporting Epic applications within a healthcare environment
- Recent experience supporting Epic Resolute Professional Claims and Electronic Remittance
- Experience supporting Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) and Hospital Billing (HB)
- Experience with Epic application build, configuration, workflow optimization, and operational support
- Experience supporting post-go-live stabilization, quarterly Epic upgrades, integrated testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Demonstrated experience participating in Epic implementation, optimization, and enhancement initiatives
- Experience supporting large healthcare Revenue Cycle operations
- Advanced Epic Certification in a Revenue Cycle application
- Epic Certification or Accreditation in Epic Cadence, Epic Prelude, or Epic Decision Tree
- Experience supporting Charge Router
