Job Summary
Hybrid Application Analyst role supporting Clinical Imaging Systems at Montefiore Health System, focused on installation, configuration, go-live/ rollout, and ongoing support for PACS and imaging workflows across Radiology, Ophthalmology, Nuclear Medicine and related domains. Key duties include configuring applications, validating requirements, performing testing, creating system specifications, and coordinating modifications with vendors and IT teams. The role requires interfacing with physicians and clinical staff, providing day-to-day operational support, and offering on-site support at Montefiore Medical Center hospitals with a minimum of two on-site days per week; on-call coverage is included. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, proven PACS/clinical imaging experience, IT experience in patient care settings, ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff, and knowledge of DICOM, DICOM RT, HL7, IHE and related health standards. Desirable knowledge includes radiology/cardiology workflows, multi-OS experience, and clinical systems familiarity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven track record with implementing, troubleshooting, testing, and supporting PACS and/or clinical imaging systems
- IT experience within patient care settings or medical centers
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with physicians and clinical staff
- Knowledge of DICOM, DICOM RT, HL7, IHE and other health related standards
- Critical thinking skills; strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent follow up skills, documentation skills and organizational skills
- Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities
