Job Summary
Lead counselor teams to implement ASCA National Model and the school counseling framework; serve on the district’s student support leadership team; connect classroom learning to social-emotional learning standards; participate in meetings and trainings outside regular contract day; support best counseling practices; engage in system changes for school improvement; collaborate on MTSS/RTI, attendance, SEL, suicide prevention/postvention plans, child reporting; communicate with parents, district office, and community; provide updates to educator effectiveness systems; two secondary counselor-leader positions in Redmond, Oregon; compensation begins on October paycheck; seeks leaders with a track record of initiative and collaboration to enhance student growth, attendance, and discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Oregon Counselor License.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional reflection and continuous professional growth.
- Demonstrated positive leadership skills and abilities.
- Technical skills (web-based applications, Google platform).
- Demonstrated success in facilitating small groups.
- Demonstrated success as a reliable team member.
