Job Summary
Appliance Service Technician responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a range of home appliances (washers/dryers, refrigerators, freezers, ranges, microwaves, dishwashers, etc.). Provides customer-focused service, offers cost estimates, ensures safety and code adherence, maintains service van and tools, uses an I-Pad for service calls, and can read schematics/blueprints. Requires independent work, teamwork, a valid driver’s license, and 1-2 years of appliance repair experience; HS diploma or GED; willingness to lift heavy loads and pass a background check. Compensation includes competitive pay and benefits, with potential commission.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of appliance repair experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
- Valid State Insured Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Record
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
- Refrigeration License a plus, but not required
- Successful background check
