Job Summary
Pick up and deliver appliances and equipment while driving a 26" box truck, engaging directly with clients and maintaining safety. Operate general hand tools, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to organize stock, manage inventory, and perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance. Qualify and record all data on appliance pick-ups, complete necessary paperwork, and assist in de-manufacturing as needed. Secure vehicles, warehouse, and equipment from damage or theft. Maintain driver logbooks and comply with DOT standards. Travel locally or regionally with some overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be located in or near Iron Mountain, MI
- High School Diploma
- Chauffeurs License
- valid Michigan DOT Medical Card
- Must be able to travel locally or regionally with some overnight stays
- 1-2 years relevant industry experience
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
- Must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
- Must consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
- Must maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment
- Must meet all DOT qualification requirements
- Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
