Job Summary
Conduct accurate installation and removal of gas and electric household appliances including washers, dryers, ranges, and refrigerators in commercial and residential settings. Ensure all units are damage-free, meet manufacturer specifications, and function correctly while interacting courteously with builders, designers, and customers. Perform driver duties and deliver white glove service, utilizing lifting equipment to handle objects weighing 70+ pounds frequently. Complete company-paid installation training seminars to stay current on product changes and safety protocols. Maintain valid chauffeur's license and DOT medical card requirements while adhering to Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm schedules with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state issued license
- Must have valid Chauffeurs license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
- Ability to lift 70+ pound objects frequently and 90+ pound objects occasionally
- Ability to deliver 'white glove service' to customers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Mechanical skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
