Job Summary
Monitor and respond to open tickets, troubleshoot alerts, and prioritize service requests while collaborating with Account Managers on change requests. Handle late night and weekend emergency support, resolve system problems during non-business hours, and ensure daily health checks of applications, scripts, ERP, and infrastructure. Install, configure, and administer application servers, set up WebLogic plug-ins, and implement business processes using Oracle BPM. Develop scripts to automate tasks and document technical processes for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BCA), B.Tech or MCA
- Hands-on experience working in an applications production support/application development environment
- Detailed knowledge of multiple systems
- In-depth understanding of the functionality for these systems
- Java scripting and Bash experience in UNIX environment
- Familiarity with implementation of DevOps
- Risk applications
- Production Support, implementation and system management experience
- At least a basic knowledge of SQL
- HTML/CSS
- Experience/working knowledge of ITIL compliant incident, problem and change service management
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide customer support and deal with escalated customer issues
- Naturally curious and creative individuals with a drive to proffer solutions to problems
- Passion for innovation
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally
- Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize work, and adapt during pressured situations
- Must be available for late night and weekend emergency support
- Must be available for off-hours support
Desired Qualifications
- Oracle Entitlements Server (OES 10.x)
- WebLogic plug-ins for Apache web server, iPlanet, IBM HTTP server, Janus and FAST
- Oracle BPM 10.x
- Configure SSL certificates 91-way and 2-way using Open ssl and Java Keytool
- It is considered to be a plus to the application support analyst
