Job Summary
Senior Appian Developer Consultant needed to lead complex Appian-based implementations for federal-government-oriented delivery teams. Responsibilities include leading implementation teams through complex Appian and related technologies, guiding architecture design, configuration management, and DevSecOps initiatives; creating implementation best practices and internal enablement resources; mentoring resources and driving process improvement; and providing thought leadership to ensure scalable, high-performance solutions. Requires 3+ years of Appian experience, 5+ years IT experience, a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, and active Appian Senior/Lead Certification. Must be a US citizen and able to travel 0-15%. Responsibilities emphasize solution delivery leadership, architecture guidance, and hands-on Appian delivery across Agile teams; knowledge of RESTful/SOAP, middleware, and cloud integrations is a plus. Compensation range provided is $115,439 to $162,293 with comprehensive benefits. This role supports federal government modernization initiatives and requires clear communication and team collaboration across delivery teams and clients.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions
- 5+ years of related IT experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
- Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification
- Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology
- Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly
- US Citizenship required
- Willingness to travel (0-15%)
