Job Summary
Senior Appian Developer Consultant to lead implementation teams through complex Appian-based solutions, guide architecture design and DevSecOps practices, mentor delivery resources, and provide client-facing advisory support across federal initiatives. Responsibilities include leading design, development, and testing activities; advising on architecture and configuration management; ensuring scalable and performant solutions; creating implementation best practices and knowledge-base articles; and driving process improvement with internal solutions and tools. Required qualifications emphasize Appian expertise (3+ years), broader IT experience (5+ years), a bachelor’s degree or higher, an active Appian Senior/Lead certification, Agile delivery experience, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and ability to obtain Secret clearance. Willingness to travel up to 15% and local DC metro preference noted.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions
- 5+ years of related IT experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
- Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification
- Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology
- Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
- Willingness to travel (0-15%) for client meetings as needed
