Job Summary
Product Engineer at Appian based in McLean, VA, designing and developing Appian applications that address complex business use cases. Contribute across the full development lifecycle from database and UX to Appian Frameworks (SAIL, Process Models, Rules, Expressions) and light full-stack/mobile development; participate in feature design, acceptance criteria, code reviews, and troubleshooting. Role emphasizes in-office collaboration with 5 days/week presence at headquarters, building scalable, reusable products for multiple customers and contributing to performance analysis and system tuning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field.
- Familiarity with object-oriented and/or functional programming concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across the full application development lifecycle.
