Appian Engineer

Appian Engineer (Level 1) supports the design, development, and delivery of Appian-based workflow and automation solutions for Novigi clients. Works under the guidance of more experienced engineers and technical leads to contribute to process automation initiatives, including workflow development, system integration support, and Appian application configuration. Focuses on building foundational technical capability across Appian development while delivering high-quality client outcomes and developing an understanding of enterprise workflow and automation solutions. Responsibilities include supporting development and configuration of Appian applications across workflow, case management, and automation use cases; translating business requirements into technical solutions using Appian BPM capabilities; building process models, SAIL interfaces, and data structures (CDTs); supporting integrations with APIs and web services; troubleshooting defects; contributing to testing and documentation; and participating in workshops to capture requirements and prepare demos. The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, technical leads, architects, delivery leads, business analysts, and client stakeholders, with ongoing development of Appian and workflow automation skills.
