Job Summary
Appian Developer needed to design, develop, and maintain Appian applications including workflows, interfaces, process models, and business rules supporting case management; implement Appian objects (records, process models, SAIL interfaces, integrations) aligned to enterprise standards; support full lifecycle delivery across development, testing, deployment, and production; develop and maintain integrations with REST/SOAP APIs and Kafka/DataHub pipelines; work within Agile ceremonies; ensure traceability with JIRA/GitLab; contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, secure coding practices, and compliance with 508 accessibility and NIST 800-53; support applications in AWS and/or Azure with containerized deployments; perform production issue resolution and on-call surge support; seek performance optimizations and cost efficiencies in an O&M context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–8+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of Appian development experience
- Hands-on experience with Appian (process models, SAIL, integrations)
- SQL and relational databases
- RESTful APIs and system integration
- Experience supporting Agile development environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-performance, mission-critical environments
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years to obtain the required clearance
